PAGE NOT AVAILABLE : SORRY FOR THE INCONVENIENCE

Just another enjoyable weekend for the “laagan” people. Actually, it was just a spur of the moment decision, much unprepared and off the cup getaway. I thought it was just Jc and I who could make that “laag” possible cos’ our friends declined ahead of time. Jc fetched me up at 6’Oclock in the morning and just as we left the house, our phone kept on beeping and surprises blast when we received messages from our friends saying that they wants to come with us. One message leads to another until everybody confirmed! We met at Starmart Kauswagan and left CDO at 9’Oclock in the morning.

I don’t know if it’s right for me to say “unlucky” or a “pleasant” trek when the rain burst out, we were trapped not just once but thrice. Here are some of the photos:

Happy Heart’s Day ^^

I know it’s a lil bit late yet I’d still wanted to share of what transpired on this very special day.
I was not expecting something from my lovey (Jc) at that moment cos I know that we both were so busy preparing for our trip to Bohol and aside from that our work were exhaustingly demands our time. Getting flowers from him at noon time was good enough for me since I so love flowers. But what surprises me was the occurrence in the afternoon. I was having my manicure session when he picked me up.

I wasn’t think of a special date especially when he arrived wearing his usual “laag” get up (shirt and shorts). I thought we will just have dinner and joy-riding like we usually did but it surprises me when we traveled distantly from the City and experienced an adventurous yet a very romantic date.

We traveled far and enough for my mind to generate whys and where. Without a single word, He brought me to a place passed through a river and trailed along a perilous mountain road. Just try to imagine a very long, curvy, rocky road, very dark with the only light was the stars and the vehicle headlight that glows up your way, a road with the only things you’ve seen are giant trees, the only sound you’ve heard is the groan of unseen forest brute, noise of your vehicle and a heart that hastily palpitating.  I was terribly frightened at that moment and my mind had even formulated an off-putting thought about him (sorry for that). Duh!! … I never imagine wandering in a mountain just for a date considering the danger that lies ahead.

All the way through, I was just closing my eyes feeling the snaking road and often hearing him says “just hold on, trust me”. I never looked up until I’ve heard the engine stops.  With a troubled mind, I slowly opened up my eyes. And you know what? What I saw really took my breath away. It makes me shiver and gasping of the wonders that I saw, the fresh air that I breathe, the stillness, and the romantic milieu that slickly greets me. I couldn't say a word than "Wow",  I never imagine of such romantic resto located in the mountain peak with amazing views of mountain, sea and city lights overlooking the whole Cagayan de Oro, A fine dining resto with affordable and mouth-watering foods that would make you forget your diet. With these, I was overwhelmed of an incredible feeling that makes me forgot what we went through before we reach the peak.

Here are some of our photos but I missed to take photos of food, good views, etc.

“Our relationship goes through a lot of trials and sacrifices even reach the point of giving up and I know that there still a lot more of it that waits ahead. Very dark, scary, risky and terrible but no matter what happened “just hold on and trust me” cos I know that at the end of the line, we’ll end up happy and victorious. Just like what we encountered and overcome before we reached the beauty of the mountain top”
 FROM JC

And when you look back all the trials you endured in the past,
it will such an incredible feeling to know that..
YOU MADE IT LAST!!!

Nevertheless, Valentine’s Day means different things to different people,” Regardless of expenditure and uniqueness of how you celebrated heart’s day – what pays more is the thought and memories that you’ve shared with your loved one whether your partner, family, friends or to whom you with. That memory is very much treasured and would always will.

Christmas is here!

I think we are all familiar with the Christmas song, “12 Days of Christmas, ayt?  Especially for the Catholics, the song was frequently sung in the church during Christmas season over the years.. But does everybody know what the real meaning of this song? We may think that it is just an ordinary phrase with a list of strange gifts, repetitious melody and a nonsense verse set to music but essentially, it has a quite serious intention when it was written.

CATHOLIC WAS A CRIME!

During the period 1558 to 1829, Parliament emancipated Catholics in England where Catholics were prohibited from practicing their faith whether in private or public (by-law). Anyone caught indicating adherence to the Catholic faith could not only get imprisoned, it could also get you hanged, shortened by head, drawn and quartered or a very ghastly punishment.

Hanging, drawing and quartering involved hanging a person by the neck until they had almost, but not quite, suffocated to death; then the party was taken down from the gallows, and eviscerate while still alive; and while the entrails were still lying on the street, where the executioners stomped all over them, the victim was tied to four large farm horses, and literally torn into five parts - one to each limb and the remaining torso.

"The Twelve Days of Christmas" was written in England as one of the "catechism songs". Since, Catholic faith was a transgression, the author inscribe his faith through a very strange yet symbolic gift to help young Catholics learn the tenets of their faith.

The partridge in a pear tree is Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, whose birthday we celebrate on December 25, the first day of Christmas. Nov 20, 2011(Sunday) – For almost a year being with the SFC pips, it was my first time to bond together in a fellowship (they had couple of activities though). I was not supposed to join cos I was a lil depleted and thought of resting instead, but my DGL (Stela) shown up at home so I settled on and go along with them.

The Unit 1- SFC Nazareno’s fellowship took place at Tropical Pool, Bulua Cagayan de Oro City. We really had fun eating, playing, swimming together and most of all - the inexhaustible and never ending “picture taking”

Here are some of the pics:

Unit 1 SFC - Nazareno Members

I dunno what we're playing but it's kinda like "recognizing positive traits" - by ems macas

Oh! I dunno what we're looking at - "murag naay gwapo"

The pool and the nymphs? :D

The Disney inspired Spot?

The nymphs getting out of their habitat? or tree models? Whatever!

I have a lot of photos to share but I'd still need to gather 'em from the cam's owner.

To SFC: Thank you guys and I really enjoyed being with you!

It was really worth my time :) Love you all ;)
